Novara: he hid 2kg of cocaine in the garden, arrested

On 15 January the Mobile Squad of the Novara Police Headquarters, during the usual operations to combat drug dealing in the peripheral areas of the city, noticed a subject who frequently, after looking around, would go to a piece of land adjacent to his home and, after digging for a few minutes, would take out a backpack which he would then bring into the house. After about 10/15 minutes the same person would reach the ground again where he would bury the same backpack.

The man, already known to investigators from previous reports, was subjected to a personal and house search, later extended to the land as well. where, at the identified point, buried at a considerable depth, it was a backpack containing a vacuum-packed plastic bag with a substance was found solid ivory colored which, subjected to chemical analysis, turned out to be cocaine for a weight of 2 kilos and 93 grams. They were also 1500 euros in cash seized, divided into small denomination banknotes.

At the end of the formal procedures, the man was arrested and taken to the Novara prison.
