Novara: He threatens his wife with a rifle and slaps her. Precautionary measure for a 46-year-old.

On July 18, the State Police executed the order for the application of a personal precautionary measure of prohibition from approaching the injured party with the application of an electronic bracelet, issued by the Court of Novara, against a 46-year-old Italian, resident in the city, already burdened by criminal records for crimes against the person, as he was accused of the crimes of serious injuries and threats against his wife.

On July 9, the woman, leaving the house, was chased by the man who, after slapping her in the street, attempted to force her back inside the house.

A motorist who had witnessed the scene rushed to the woman's aid by contacting the police headquarters operations room which immediately sent a police squad.

The outcome of the subsequent investigative activity conducted by the agents of the Novara Flying Squad revealed that the woman had been violently beaten and threatened with a rifle pointed at her head, which later turned out to be a rifle on sale and found following a house search.

All the elements collected during the investigations allowed the Judicial Authority to issue the precautionary measure against the suspect.
