Novara: Drug dealing and possession, precautionary measure order issued for 3 individuals
The Novara Police Headquarters has given execution of a precautionary measure order against three individuals, all of Pakistani ethnicity, for the crime of possession for the purpose of dealing narcotic substances. As part of the usual checks carried out by the Anti-Drug Section of the Novara Flying Squad in the area surrounding the railway station the staff found that, in the building called “Ex Olcese”, located right behind the central station and already affected by several Judicial Police operations, three individuals of Pakistani ethnicity had started a thriving drug dealing activity.
In the month of August it was therefore an investigative activity has been undertaken which allowed us to verify how, from early morning until late evening, numerous drug addicts, including those from Lombardy, reached Olcese and, after a brief negotiation with the Pakistanis, which took place through a gap in the fence, purchased drugs.
The modus operandi of the criminal association was well thought out, each of the suspects had their own role, two people were in fact involved in drug dealing while the third was standing on the street acting as a "lookout" and warned his accomplices of the possible arrival of the police. The illicit activity was very profitable as there were over fifty sales per day for a revenue of approximately 600 euros per day.
The investigative findings were shared by the investigating Judicial Authority which issued a precautionary measure order against the suspects, two of whom were arrested and sent to the Novara prison, while the third was banned from residing in the province of Novara.
