“Who We Used To Be”, James Blunt's new album will be released on October 27th.
James Blunt returns with the brilliant new album “Who We Used To Be”, out on 27 October, preceded by the up-tempo single “Beside You“. Produced by The Six, a Manchester collective who have worked with Clean Bandit, Marshmello and James Arthur, “Beside You” is a summery and light-hearted song. “It's kind of like celebrating the fact that you got to be with the person you've wanted your whole life,” James says. “Who We Used To Be” is James' first studio album since 2019's acclaimed “Once Upon A Mind” which reached the Top 3 of the UK chart. This time he worked with a variety of selected producers including Jonny Coffer, Red Triangle, Jack & Coke and Steve Robson.
Its recent harvesting of great successes,”The Stars Beneath My Feet“, contains all the hits that made him famous in our country too, where he boasts 8 platinum and 9 gold records. In recent years, James Blunt's fame has become something special. He is one of the most respected artists for his honesty, wit and charm as displayed on record, on stage and with his increasingly engaging Twitter account. His 2004 debut album “Back To Bedlam” which contained the global hit “You're Beautiful” is one of top ten best-selling albums of that decade in the UK and is certified Double Platinum in Italy. He has won two Brit Awards, two Ivor Novello Awards and received 5 Grammy nominations.
