Sanremo the Song Festival and more. Starting Tuesday, February 11th.

Here we are, in a few days the 75th edition of the musical festival starts on the stage of the Airiston theatre in Sanremo.

"The elegance of simplicity and harmony": architect Riccardo Bocchini thus summarizes his "Techno Hall", which combines graphics and lighting, technology and "engines". A scenography that promises great emotions.

Meanwhile the first guests are revealed, Jovanotti begins then in the second evening it's the turn of Damiano David, frontman of Maneskin currently struggling with the launch of his solo career. Third evening with Ermal Meta, who won the 2018 Sanremo Festival together with Fabrizio Moro with the song “Non mi avete fatto niente”. For the fourth evening the guests will be Benji & Fede, Iva Zanicchi and Antonello Venditti. Final evening with the dance of Planet Funk and Tedua's pop rap.

The co-hosts alongside Carlo Conti will be Gerry Scotti, Antonella Clerici, Bianca Balti, Geppi Cucciari, Katia Follesa, Nino Frassica, Elettra Lamborghini, Miriam Leone, Mahmood, Cristiano Malgioglio, Alessia Marcuzzi and Alessandro Cattelan.

The songs/Artists will be voted by the Press Room Jury, TV and Web, televoting for the public at home and the radio jury. The artistic director Carlo Conti, in agreement with Rai, has made a change to the Regulations of the next edition of the Festival regarding the performance of the artists of the New Proposals.

The two direct semi-final challenges will both be held on Wednesday 12 February, the second evening of the Festival, while the final to assign the title of winner of the New Proposals category will be on Thursday 13 February. Another change made refers to the access method to the next edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. The winning artist will have to respect the criteria indicated by Ebu/Esc and in the event of the absence of requirements Rai will be able to proceed to indicate an artist according to the ranking order of the Festival. The artists in the competition will be 29, there were 30 initially but Emis Killa has renounced participation.

The “New Proposals” section is back: four artists will perform in a separate challenge to compete for the title.
