«We are particularly pleased to host this new edition of the event, which grows more and more every year, is enriched with content, so much so that it has become one of the most important festivals held in the summer in our country both in terms of quality of attendance and artistic proposals. The further added value is that it is young Calabrians who propose it to the public. The signal that our territory is rich in talents, professionals, people who love this land of ours. This festival represents an important business card for our city which proves to be an ideal stage for high-level cultural events» said Mayor Voce.

«Selecting the short films in competition becomes a more difficult task every year. Thanks to the quality of the small masterpieces that reach us and which, despite the short and essential language, manage to express and give space to careful and profound themes. Reflection on society, on discrimination, on daily problems, on sometimes complicated feelings, were our guidelines. We chose what we considered to have that something extra, to dig into the heart of the viewer and get straight to the belly. Because cinema is emotion and emotion. We hope that our audience and the jury appreciate the beauty of these short films and we can't wait to meet and personally host the authors of these great little films», finally declared the artistic directors of the Festival.
