Dark as the Heart, a thriller that explores the darkness of the human soul

On December 12th, the film “Dark as the heart”, a new thriller directed by Marco DeLuca, Roman director who lives and works in London and co-written with the film critic Claudio Masenza. Produced by Claudio Bucci and Mario Pezzi's Blue Film, the feature film is set to capture audiences with a compelling mix of mystery, sensuality and tension, reworking classic noir themes in a contemporary context.

THE PLOT

The protagonist of the story is Anna (Elizabeth Pellini), an ambitious actress who tries to escape from a troubled past, but finds herself trapped in a web of secrets and obsessions. Her life is further complicated by the presence of her possessive husband Giulio (Anthony Grosso), of his ex-lover Daniela (Antonietta Bello) and the young lover and photographer Fabio (Stephen Gianino). Completing the cast are the talented Gabriele Rossi, Constantine Comito and the legends Stefania Casini e Luc Merenda. The intertwining of passions and betrayals will lead the characters towards a surprising and unexpected ending.
