From Ground Zero is composed of twenty-two short films, conceived both in documentary and narrative form. Here, daily life is shown in the gigantic tent city formed by over a million displaced people from the smoking rubble of the city of Gaza. The shorts are directed by girls and boys from the Gaza Strip, between 19 and 28 years old, some of whom are students of the film school organized by the Masharawi Foundation in Palestine. The shorts make up a show of 1h 55′, which oscillates between cinéma vérité and poetic fiction. It is produced by Rashid Masharawi and Laura Nikolov.
