Crotone, the “Calabria Movie International Short Film Festival” project financed.
It falls between Projects funded, the proposal that the association “Calabria Movie” in partnership with the Municipality of Crotone had presented pursuant to the public notice for support for the creation of film and audiovisual festivals and reviews in Calabria – 2022
The administration, on the proposal of the councilor for entertainment Gianni Pitingolo and the councilor for culture Rachele Via, had agreed to the request made by the association "Calabria Movie” to support the project proposal called “Calabria Movie International Short Film Festival"
The project candidacy, which includes among other things a review to be dedicated to the centenary of birth of Pier Paolo Pasolini, had a positive outcome from the Calabria Region which granted the financing, positively evaluating the cultural proposal.
As was announced at the presentation of the exhibition on "Seventy years of the Crotone prize” which saw Pier Paolo Pasolini among the protagonists and other initiatives dedicated to him, the homage that the city of Crotone dedicates to the great poet, writer and director finds continuity.
Un teamwork, as the councilors point out Via and Pitingolo, which in confirming the Calabria Movie association as a young and virtuous cultural catalyst in the field of cinematographic art, on the other hand it saw the commitment offered by the municipal officials who with great professionalism contributed to the positive result obtained.
