Biassono: Two arrests and one detention for an assault with a baseball bat in Macherio.

In the early hours of the night of December 16, 2024, the Carabinieri of the Biassono Station arrested two people and placed a third under arrest on suspicion of crime, all believed to be responsible for an assault that occurred in the late afternoon of December 15 in Macherio, near the external parking lot of a supermarket.
The victim, a 34 year old man, already known to the police, she was brutally attacked for alleged previous disagreements, resulting in serious injuries. After being kicked and punched, she was hit in the head with a baseball bat. Rescued by 118 personnel, she was immediately transported to the San Gerardo hospital in Monza, where clinical tests revealed a more serious situation than initially appeared, so much so that she was admitted to intensive care, with a reserved prognosis, not in danger of life, for skull fractures.

The Carabinieri, who intervened on the scene, arrested two people in the act, a 53-year-old already known to the Police and an 18-year-old resident of Macherio. Subsequently, the search activities allowed them to track down and place under judicial police custody a third person, a 20-year-old, also resident of Macherio, identified as the person who physically used the baseball bat during the attack.

At the end of the formal procedures, by order of the Judicial Authority, the 53-year-old and the 20-year-old were taken to the Monza District Prison, while the 18-year-old was placed under house arrest at his home. Further investigations are underway to identify the other participants in the attack and fully reconstruct the dynamics of the facts.
