Monza Brianza: High-impact operation by the State Police against youth crime
The State Police of Monza, during the week included between 25 and 30 October, has carried out high-impact investigative services in the main meeting places of the city, aimed at combating the phenomenon of juvenile crime.
The operation is part of a project by the Central Operations Service of the Central Anti-Crime Directorate of the State Police, aimed at intensifying police checks on young boys, increasingly involved in episodes of deviance, which not infrequently lead to illicit activities against the person, property, in the field of drugs and weapons, as well as in contexts of hardship.
The activity, coordinated by the Flying Squad, involved a total of approximately 80 operators belonging to the General Prevention and Public Aid Office, the Anti-Crime Division, the Scientific Police and the Immigration Office of the Police Headquarters, the Railway Police, as well as crews of the Crime Prevention Department of Milano and the Local Police, who also employed 2 canine units.
Furthermore, the Provincial Labour Office of contributed to the specific competence attributions Milano.
At the end of the operation, a total of 455 Guests, of which 170 minors, and adopted 28 personal prevention measuresThe recipients are young people between 16 and 34 years, most of whom are Italian citizens residing in the provinces of Monza Brianza and Milano and, to a lesser extent, Albanian and Egyptian citizens.
Among the measures imposed or for which the related administrative proceedings have been initiated, the following are worth mentioning: 17 oral warnings, 6 of which against minors, and 5 mandatory expulsion orders, as well as measures specifically aimed at protecting the safety of some particularly sensitive areas of the historic center. Among these, the following have been adopted: 4 access bans to some public premises and establishments of the historic center against individuals reported for drug crimes committed within or in the immediate vicinity of places considered sensitive, such as schools and public places, and 2 access bans, also in this case to specific public establishments, against young people reported for disturbances committed in the same contexts as above.
In the context of the fight against the phenomenon of drug dealing (cocaine and hashish), were Two Maghrebian citizens aged 18 and 31 reported, caught red-handed during targeted surveillance operations in the railway station area.
Overall, they were found 120 grams of hashish and marijuanain addition to some packages of cocaine of modest quantities, and 8 young people administratively sanctioned, aged between 16 and 20 years, found in possession of small quantities of drugs in the area of the railway station and in the historic centre.
On the contrast side to irregular immigration, two expulsion orders were adopted against a Moroccan citizen and a Tunisian, reported for drug dealing near the station, and administrative procedures have been initiated against them aimed at repatriating them to their respective countries of origin.
A 17 year old Italian citizen, already recently found in possession of a knuckle duster in the historic center, subjected to a check again in the immediate vicinity of a club, he was found with 28 grams of hashish, divided into doses ready for sale, and a switchblade. The procedure for the adoption of a ban on access to the public place where the check took place has been activated against the young man.
Strict controls were carried out on subjects subjected to the arrest and other precautionary or judicial measures, with the requirement to remain at home during the night.
In one case it was the absence of the subject, a 25 year old South American citizen, was found, placed on probation by social services, who was reported to the competent Judicial Authority for the purpose of aggravating the measure.
Finally, with the support of the staff of the Provincial Labour Office of Milano, They were three public establishments checked and the owner of one of them, a local restaurant, was sanctioned for failure to communicate hiring of employees (2 Bangladeshi citizens and 1 Italian) and with the subsequent suspension of the license, taken starting from Monday.
Furthermore, within the scope of the crime prevention activity in October, the following measures were adopted: 61 measures to remove people from the national territory against the same number illegal foreign citizens with a criminal record for drug dealing and predatory crimes.
Among the non-EU citizens who have been repatriated to their country of origin or placed in repatriation centres there are in particular, a 35 year old Albanian citizen, with several criminal records and convictions for crimes relating to narcotics, escape and resistance, resistance and violence to a public official and damage followed by the voluntary burning of his house; a Nigerian citizen with precedents for receiving and dealing of narcotics; a 39 year old Moroccan citizen, with precedents for dealing of narcotic substances; a 30 year old Moldovan citizen with precedents for facilitation of illegal immigration as during a check of the vehicle in which he was travelling together with a fellow countryman it emerged that the two were transporting four Turkish/Iraqi citizens with two minor children; a 26 year old Albanian citizen with precedents for drug dealing, as he was part of two criminal gangs capable of import large quantities of cocaine from the Netherlands; a 28 year old Peruvian citizen, irregularly present in Italy for over a year, with a criminal record for aggravated theft, receiving stolen goods, false declarations about one's identity and drug dealing.
