Arrest in Desio: 145 grams of cocaine seized during a Carabinieri check.

In the last few days the Carabinieri of the Mobile Radio Section of the Desio Company they arrested a man red-handed 28-year-old Moroccan national, homeless and illegal on the national territory, held responsible for possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of trafficking.

The operation is part of the daily efforts to combat drug-related crimes in the area.

During a patrol service in Achille Grandi Street, the soldiers stopped a car with two people on board.

The personal search of the passenger allowed the discovery two wraps of cocaine, packaged in cellophane, for a total of about 145 grams.

In addition to the drugs, the Carabinieri found a precision balance, packaging material, three cell phones e 955 euros in cash, a sum believed to be attributable to drug dealing activities. All the material was subjected to seizure.

Arrest validated and precautionary measure applied

The man, already known to the police, was declared under arrest and taken to thedirect hearing before the Public Prosecutor on duty at the Public Prosecutor's Office of Monza.

At the end of the hearing, the Judge the arrest was validated and arranged for him precautionary measure of a ban on residence in the municipality of Desio, a measure aimed at preventing the repetition of illegal conduct.
