Brugherio: 16-year-old reported by the Carabinieri for illegal possession of a bladed weapon

In the early afternoon of Monday 18 November 2024, the Carabinieri of the Brugherio Station have reported while at liberty un 16enne of the place, with the accusation of illegal possession of a bladed weapon.

The episode occurred as part of a service aimed at ensure safety in the vicinity of the municipality's secondary schools, aimed at preventing risky situations. During a check, the military personnel have two young people arrested for an investigation and, during the identification, one of them has spontaneously handed over to the Carabinieri a folding knife with a blade over 10 cm long, which he kept in his jacket pocket. The weapon was immediately seized and made available to the Judicial Authority.

The young people were taken to the Carabinieri Command in Brugherio for the formal procedures and subsequently entrusted to their respective parents. The incident was reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Milano.
