Arcore: Bluetooth headphones stolen, two 15-year-olds arrested
The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section of the Monza Company, together with personnel from the Biassono Carabinieri Station have a 15-year-old and a 14-year-old arrested, both of Moroccan nationality, resident respectively in the provinces of Lecco and Lodi, because accused of conspiracy to commit robbery on board a train. Furthermore, during the operation, a 23-year-old Tunisian man of no fixed abode was arrested on charges of illicit possession of narcotics. The military intervened around the Arcore railway station, where they collected the complaint of a train conductor who had contacted the Operations Centre of the Provincial Carabinieri Command from Monza via 112, reporting a robbery that had just been committed.
Here they reconstructed the event, ascertaining that a few moments before two minors, on board the convoy coming from Ponte San Pietro (BG) and headed to Milano Porta Garibaldi, they had approached a 21-year-old passenger and, after having grabbed and blocked him, they had stolen his Bluetooth headphones. The victim had managed to warn the train conductor of the incident, who had requested the intervention of the police. The military they reached the Arcore railway station, where the train was in transit, finding it stopped and with the doors still closed. Once they got on board, They immediately tracked down and identified the perpetrators of the robbery, who were found in possession of the stolen goods, which were recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
During the operations, against the two minors, already known to the police, serious evidence of guilt emerged in relation to another robbery, which took place a few hours earlier using similar methods and also on board a train. In the event, a 14 year old passenger travelling along the Sesto San Giovanni – Monza route, had been beaten and robbed of his headphones. The two were also reported to the Judicial Authority for this second and different crime. During the intervention on board the convoy, the soldiers noticed a boy non-EU citizen, not involved in the robbery, who, at their sight, assumed a suspicious attitude, so much so that his identification was deemed appropriate. Following the check, the 23-year-old was found in possession of 5 blocks of hashish-type narcotic substance, wrapped in cellophane.
The substance was seized. The young man, also already known to the police for specific crimes, he was declared under arrest and, as ordered by the Public Prosecutor on duty at the Monza Public Prosecutor's Office, he awaited trial with a summary trial at the security cells of the Monza Brianza Provincial Command. The same was also reported for illegal possession of weapons as he was found in possession of a switchblade. The two minors, however, as ordered by the Deputy Prosecutor at the Juvenile Court of Milano, at the end of the ritual formalities were taken to the Juvenile Penal Institute “Beccaria” in Milano available to the Judicial Authority.
