In recent days, around 22.30 pm in via 1° Maggio in the municipality of Briosco, a carabinieri patrol from the Giussano station, noticing a suspicious Volkswagen Golf with three men on board passing next to them and taking the SS 36 in the direction of Lecco, he decided to follow it and then, having reached the Veduggio service area with Colzano, stop it and check it.

On board three friends aged 22, 29 and 35, all of Moroccan origins but domiciled in Inverigo who said they were returning home after an evening spent in a restaurant.

After having the three Moroccans get out of the car to check it, the soldiers observed out of the corner of their eye that the 29-year-old, rear passenger of the car, with a lightning gesture had opened a can of Coca-Cola and was casually putting something inside. At the same time, having found a plastic wrapper with residues of a white powdery substance near the driver's seat, hypothesizing the presence of cocaine, the military in-depth checks searched the three and, in particular, focused their attention on the 29-year-old who , still with the Coca-Cola in his hand and intent on sipping it, was asked to hand it over.

Having emptied the coca-cola, the soldiers took out from the can a plastic wrapper similar to the one already found inside the car but still full of cocaine.

The three were then accompanied to the barracks for identification procedures at the end of which the 35-year-old driver of the Golf, admitted having consumed the drug and refused the hospital investigation aimed at ascertaining its presence in his blood, was reported to the judicial authorities for driving under the influence of drugs.

The 29-year-old, however, found with cocaine in the can, was reported to the administrative authority of Como as a drug user. Finally, the 22-year-old, already with a history of drug dealing, was reported to the judicial authorities because during the check he had provided false personal details.
