The Carabinieri of the Carate Brianza Station, at the conclusion of a rapid investigative activity, they reported two minors, aged 15 and 16, both residents of Carate Brianza, at liberty for the crimes of attempted robbery and injury to a 16-year-old peer.

On the afternoon of Wednesday, November 27, 2024, the military intervened at a school in the municipality, after a student reported having been the victim of an assault that had occurred shortly before at a bus stop.

According to what has been reconstructed, the victim had been approached by two peers, frequenters of the same institute and known by sight, who, with the intent of stealing his backpack, had repeatedly grabbed him and hit him in the face. Despite the attack, the young man managed to put up a determined resistance, forcing the two to give up and flee. The identification of those responsible was possible thanks to the photos provided by the victim, extracted from a well-known social network, and the testimonies collected. Investigations carried out at the school confirmed their identity.

The two minors were accompanied to the Carabinieri Command of Carate Brianza for the
formalities and subsequently entrusted to their respective parents. The incident was reported
communication to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Milano.
