The Carabinieri of the Seregno Company, at the conclusion of rapid investigations, have three minors reported at liberty, all residents of Carate Brianza, for the crimes of damage and dangerous ignitions and explosions.
The complaints originate from the events that occurred on the evening of Wednesday 20 November 2024, when personnel from the Carate Brianza Station, with the support of the Radiomobile Section of the Seregno Company, intervened following a report received by the emergency number NUE112. The call reported strong explosions in via Martin Luther King and in piazza Cesare Battisti.
When the military arrived, it was found that they had been firecrackers exploded, causing the Damage to a concrete flower box, part of the street furniture, and of the window of a commercial premises. The responsible people, when the Carabinieri arrived, had move away quickly on scooters, managing to cover their tracks.
Thanks to a careful analysis of the images from the video surveillance systems and the checks carried out on one of the scooters abandoned during the escape, the military managed to identify the three responsible: a 16-year-old, a 15-year-old and a 13-year-old.
The two eldest were reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court of Milano. As for the 13-year-old, his age under fourteen years of age determined the complaint of 37 year old mother, cohabitant, to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Ordinary Court of Monza for child abandonment.
