The Villa Pineta Santo Stefano Hospital Rehabilitation of Gaiato, in the province of Modena, inaugurates on new clinic dedicated to bariatric surgery, directed by Dr. Antonio Zullino, renowned bariatric surgeon, former member of the Galeazzi Sant'Ambrogio Hospital, San Donato Group of Milano. Bariatric surgery represents a set of procedures and interventions aimed at controlling excess weight, which allows patients to obtain a weight loss of up to 70% of the accumulated excess and to prevent and treat diseases associated with obesity.

In fact, thanks to this partnership, i patients can receive complete assistance both in the pre-operative phase, through an in-depth study, both in the post-operative phase, during which they will be followed during the recovery process and weaning. The clinic has been specifically set up to provide a full range of specialist services.
