The 6-year-old originally from the Philippines who hit a State Police car near the Piazzale Bruni roundabout risks a fine of up to 30 euros. When the Modena local police patrol arrived on site to report the accident – ​​fortunately without any injuries – the man in fact refused to undergo the breathalyser test and, therefore, as provided for by the law, he was charged with Article 186, which punishes those who drive under the influence of alcohol, in the most serious category provided for by the Highway Code.

The driver, resident in Modena, at the time of the accident he was travelling along Viale Vittorio Emanuele II on board a Kia with two other passengers, a 26 year old and a 21 year old, with the same origin and residence as the driver who was reported, therefore, for drunk driving by the officers, while his license was immediately withdrawn and the car, owned by him, was seized. It will now be up to the judicial authorities to decide to what extent any criminal sanction should be applied to him, whose fine, according to the new Highway Code, can reach up to six thousand euros, arrest up to one year and suspension of the driving licence up to two years.
