Milano, RESPONSIVELombardy region, with the president Attilio Fontana, and the Milan, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, gave life to a moment of solidarity and closeness on the occasion of the Christmas holidays. This afternoon, the Lombard governor and the AC Milan manager visited theBuzzi hospital di Milano to deliver gifts and smiles to young patients, thanks to the initiatives 'Il gioco sospeso' of the Region and the Fondazione Milan.
Representing the Rossoneri club, together with Ibrahimovic, even the players Chanté Dompig e Monica Renzotti, while for the Buzzi hospital the General Manager of Asst Maria Grazia Colombo.
“I thank Milan,” commented the president Fontana, “for being by our side in this truly special moment that gave a little joy to the little patients. Seeing the enthusiasm with which they welcomed Ibrahimovic and the two AC Milan girls, it was really beautiful."
“I'm happy,” he declared Ibrahimovic, “for having contributed to bringing energy and strength to these children. The same strength and energy that I receive from them on occasions like these”.
President Fontana also underlined how Ibrahimovic confirmed himself to be "particularly sensitive and attentive to this type of action", also citing the important awareness campaign that the Swede had promoted during the Covid period for the use of masks.
Meanwhile, the 'Suspended Toy' initiative continues at Palazzo Lombardia: anyone who wants to help bring a smile to less fortunate children can do so by going to entrance N1, where toys destined for those who need them most are collected.
