Acquedolci: Aggravated stalking against ex-spouse, 47-year-old arrested
At the conclusion of the investigations directed by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Patti, the Carabinieri of the Acquedolci Station have a 47-year-old man arrested, domiciled in Acquedolci (ME), in execution of a personal precautionary measure order of house arrest with application of an electronic bracelet. The man is seriously suspected of the crime of stalking aggravated by the circumstance of having been committed against his spouse.
The investigations carried out by the Carabinieri of the Santo Stefano di Camastra Company were started following the complaint filed by the victim and have allowed us to reconstruct and document the repeated conduct carried out by the man who, with obsessive controls of movements, harassment, insults and serious threats addressed to the injured party and his family members they caused the victim to experience a profound state of anxiety and concern for her own safety and that of her minor children, even forcing her to significantly change her lifestyle habits for security reasons and to change the locks on her house.
The Carabinieri of the Acquedolci Station, under the guidance of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Patti, have collected the serious evidence of guilt which allowed the issuing of the precautionary measure. The man was then arrested and, after the ritual formalities, taken to his home where he will be held under house arrest pending the application of the electronic bracelet.
