Sant'Agata di Militello: Stalking acts against a woman, man from Sant'Agata arrested by the Carabinieri

I Carabinieri of the Sant'Agata di Militello Company have carried out the application of the precautionary measure of the arrest with electronic bracelet, issued by GIP of the Court of Patti, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor's Office, headed by Chief Prosecutor Dr. Angelo Vittorio Cavallo, against an individual from the area in relation to the crimes of stalking and mistreatment committed in damage of a local woman.

The investigative activity, conducted by the Carabinieri of the Sant'Agata di Militello Station and coordinated by Patti Public Prosecutor's Office, launched following the complaint filed by the victim last January, has allowed us to document repeated intimidating and violent conduct by the accused towards a woman to whom he had an emotional relationship, who was repeatedly the victim of harassment and violence, even physical, which caused her strong states of anxiety and fears, such as to force her to change her lifestyle habits.

Through the investigation activity, the Carabinieri they managed to collect and document the elements from which serious evidence of the defendant's guilt emerged, which allowed theJudicial authority to issue the precautionary measure which led to the arrest of the suspect who is now confined to arrest with electronic bracelet, at his home.
