Milazzo (Messina), inspection of the hospital pharmacy. The Carabinieri seize expired drugs

The Carabinieri of the NAS of Catania and the Milazzo Company, together with the military of the Judicial Police Section of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Barcellona Poggio di Gotto, following an activity delegated by the Judicial Authority, they carried out a health and hygiene inspection at the pharmacy of the “Fogliani” Hospital in Milazzo.

The control activity, attended by Dr. Giuseppe Verzera, Chief Prosecutor at the head of the Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto Public Prosecutor's Office, who was present at the operations conducted, allowed the military to identify some packages of expired drugs, kept in promiscuity with the regulatory medicines, inside the appropriate cabinets of the inspected pharmacy, and destined for the hospital departments.

The NAS of Catania has therefore seized the expired drugs.
