Messina: Pusher on vacation on the island of Vulcano arrested by the Carabinieri for drug dealing.
During the performance of a patrol service aimed at preventing and repressing the phenomenon of drug dealing, carried out on the Island of Vulcano, the Carabinieri of the local Station arrested, in flagrante delicto, a 28-year-old, resident in Rome, on holiday on the Island, considered presumed responsible for the crime of drug dealing.
In particular, near a nightclub on the island, the soldiers caught the young man in the act of giving marijuana to two tourists.
His cautious attitude did not escape the attention of the Carabinieri who, after identifying him, subjected him to a personal search.
The subsequent house search, extended to the apartment used by the 28-year-old, allowed the police to find 15 grams of marijuana already divided into 5 doses and kept inside a pack of cigarettes, a further 78 grams of loose marijuana, Approximately 32 grams of hashish, two precision scales, various materials likely used to package drugs, as well as the sum of €225 in cash, believed to be proceeds from the alleged drug dealing activity.
The young man was arrested red-handed and, after the formalities, made available to the Judicial Authority.
The seized drugs were sent to the Carabinieri of the RIS of Messina for the relevant laboratory analyses.
