Messina, presentation of the stamp celebrating the figure of Colapesce.
After celebratory stamp of the "Procession of the Vara and the Giants” of August 12th, obtained thanks to the commitment of Peloritano Philatelic Club. Tuesday 25, at 11 am, in Falcone Borsellino Hall in Palazzo Zanca, in the presence of Mayor Federico Basile and Culture Councilor Vincenzo Caruso, during a press conference, a was presented new stamp which concerns the city of Messina. They took part in the meeting Italian Post Office officials e representatives of city cultural institutions. It is one of the two celebratory values of Series "Europe 2022" on the topic "Myths and Legends” referring to mythological character from Colapesce characterized by code B 50 grams (value 2,70 euros).
The stamp value, inserted in the Postal stamp issuing program of the Ministry of Economic Development, was printed byPolygraphic Institute e Mint of the State and will be distributed by Poste Italiane.
