The measure comes into force after an observation of the territory for combating illegal waste disposal practices which disfigure the territory and have serious health implications of the inhabitants of the area. During the inspection, the Carabinieri helicopter reported to the patrols a waste dumping area, hidden among the hilly vegetation. Thanks to the helicopter's videos, the Carabinieri inspected the area, finding the area arranged for the illegal disposal of special and non-special waste, as car bodies, engine parts and household appliances.

Law enforcement identified the company held responsible for the illegal disposal and reported it to the prosecutor's office.
