Scanzano Jonico, cocaine in the house: 47-year-old arrested

The man, therefore, he was declared under arrest and after the formal procedures, by order of the Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Matera, transferred to the District Prison of the City of Sassi, where He is still in custody following the validation of the arrestor by the Preliminary Investigation Judge of the Court of Matera. The seized drugs, placed on the retail market, could have generated up to 40.000,00 euros. It is recalled that art. 73 DPR 309/90, in prohibiting also the possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing, provides for a very heavy sanction, namely imprisonment from 6 to 20 years and a fine from 26.000,00 to 260.000,00 euros.
