Ancona, 30-year-old arrested for drug dealing
The repressive activity of the State Police aimed at combating drug dealing in the urban area continues incessantly.
In the last few hours, the police have arrested a thirty-year-old Italian, with specific criminal records, found in possession of over 2 and a half kilos of drugs.
The young man, in the late afternoon of Wednesday 10 November, at the height of investigative activity as well as a series of dedicated stakeouts and shadowing, was reached by investigators at his home in Ancona and subjected to a thorough local search.
The officers found over 2 and a half kilos of drugs in his house, including 22 blocks of hashish (2 kg) and over half a kilo of marijuana contained in two vacuum-packed bags.
In addition to the aforementioned narcotic, the officers found a small quantity (evidence) of a new narcotic substance called "Rosin" handcrafted by the arrested man himself, through a process of processing marijuana mixed with hot water.
Ultimately the “rosin” it is an unprecedented way of separating hemp sativa resin without the use of solvents which is becoming widespread among users. The reasons for using this technique are ease, low cost and product quality.
To produce hemp oil with the rosin technique, a strong source of heat and pressure must be applied to the cannabis leaves (usually an iron or hair straightener and baking paper are used) so that in a few seconds the CBD resin separates to form small drops, i.e. hemp oil.
The temperature must not be too high otherwise more cannabinoids and terpenes will be lost due to vaporization in the process, but despite this the purity of the product will always be greater.
Given the serious indications of criminality that emerged against the young man, he was arrested and, upon order of the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Ancona, placed in prison in Montacuto at the disposal of the prosecuting Judicial Authority.
Today the arrest was validated and the judge applied precautionary custody in prison.
