The future travels on rails: in the Marche the new electric train between sustainability and beauty

Presented this morning at Ancona station a new latest generation electric train of the fleet of the Regional, Brand Trenitalia (Italian State Railways Group)), and will run from Ancona to Pesaro, Ascoli and Fabriano, touching all the localities of the Region.  Trenitalia's investment plan in regional transport continues, which is making available to travellers from the Marche region increasingly modern and comfortable trains. With these deliveries the average age of the Regional fleet in the Marche region drops to approximately   – one of the lowest in the entire national panorama – destined to decrease further by 2025 thanks to the arrival of other 8 new trains.

New opportunities are opening up to encourage summer tourist mobility towards our seaside resorts, inland villages and religious destinations for pilgrims on the occasion of the Jubilee.".

THE ELECTRIC SINGLE-DECKER TRAIN

Electric, single-deck, equipped with 4 traction motors, can reach a speed of 160 km / hIt hosts approximately 500 Guests, with 300 seats. Sustainability – The new Pops respond to the policy of environmental sustainability and are recyclable up to 97 percent. They consume 30 percent less energy than the previous generation. The doors are programmed to close in order to avoid heat loss. The LED passenger lighting is automatically adjusted based on the external light.

THE NEW SUMMER TIMETABLE IN THE MARCHE

The new summer timetable also starts in the Marche region on Sunday 15 June.
