Marche: protagonist at the BIT Milano with the show cooking of chef Citeroni and Gambero Rosso.

At the BIT of Milano, chef Daniele Citeroni enchants journalists and bloggers with a gastronomic journey through the sea, hills and mountains of the Marche, in collaboration with Gambero Rosso.

“I'm here with the Red shrimp to tell you about it Brands: an extraordinary land, impossible to enclose in an hour. A territory that embraces sea, hills and mountains, each with unique typical products. The Marche is also a region of excellence for extra virgin olive oil and cereals, ingredients that we will find in today's dishes".

With these words, the chef Daniele Citeroni Maurizi, patron ofOphis Inn in Offida, known face of Gambero Rosso TV and member of theMarche Chefs Association, has started its cooking show at BIT in Milano. The event, reserved for a select audience of over 40 journalists and bloggers sector, took place in a dedicated area near the stand of the Marche regionThe initiative is part of a large project of territorial promotion, fruit of the collaboration between ATIM and the circuit Red shrimp.

“My fun is cooking by combining everything that the Marche region has to offer, ideally travelling from the sea to the mountains through the hills. So let's go for a walk in the Marche“, continued Citeroni, introducing a menu that retraced the richness food and wine of the region.

The culinary experience began from sea, with a tribute to the local fish catch: after a taste of bread and oil, the protagonist of the first course was the mackerel in broth, a recipe that enhances the blue fish of the ports of the Marche region.

From colline, characterized by olive groves, vineyards and vegetable gardens full of wild herbs, arrived there “pasta with our harvest”, a dish that celebrates the agricultural biodiversity of the region. The journey then continued up the Tronto River, Between shepherds, breeders of the Marchigiana breed and cheesemakers, to savour a traditional dish: jugged lamb, a preparation with an intense and slightly acidic flavour, once used for game and meats with a strong flavour, enriched with black truffle.

The journey ended with an iconic dessert of the Offida tradition: the mushrooms with anisette, perfect for relaxing and imagining the view from the montains opens until sea.

To continue to promote the food and wine excellence of the Marche region, Red shrimp will make four advertorials (from April to December 2025), each dedicated to a regional gastronomic itinerary. The insights will be published in the magazine Red shrimp, On the site www.gamberorosso.it and spread through the daily newsletter “Gambero Rosso Today”.

To complete this strategy cross-media, Gambero Rosso TV will produce a series in three episodes, in which the chef Citeroni will guide spectators to discover the local typologies, telling the raw material and most representative recipes of the MarcheThe series will be broadcast on the OTT platform www.gamberorosso.tv, clear on digital terrestrial (channel 257) and Sky (channels 133 and 415).
