In the last few days, at the conclusion of the investigations resulting from the inspection carried out by the Carabinieri of the Anti-Adulteration and Health Unit (NAS) of Cremona, in conjunction with ATS staff of the Po Valley, had been notified to the owner of a sheep and goat farm, 55 years old resident in San Benedetto Po; some charges have been filed administrative violations for having started a farm without a company code, with the presence of 14 unidentified itemsas well as the detention of the entire herd (37 heads) inside premises without lighting, suitable equipment for the administration of feed and ready availability of water, in precarious and unsafe structures as well as potentially dangerous for animals and humans.

During the inspection it also emerged that the registration codes of the detained poultry were not present. Administrative sanctions amounting to 9.098 €. Some instructions have been given adaptation requirements.
