He could no longer hold weapons and ammunition following a Provision prohibiting the possession of weapons issued by the Prefecture of Mantua in 2018, which arose from some complaints against him. At the time, in fact, the Carabinieri had already seized a gun, legally held by the subject before the adoption of the restrictive measure.

in this recent days, Carabinieri of the Sermide Station, following specific investigations, they carried out a house search at the home of a 62-year-old resident of Sermide and FelonicaDuring the operation, the soldiers found a 12-gauge double-barrelled shotgun, and 26 cartridges of the same caliber.

The investigations revealed that the gun and ammunition belonged to the man's father during his lifetime, died in 2012. Tuttavia, the 62-year-old had never reported possession of the rifle after the death of his parent, despite the absolute ban on possessing weapons and ammunition already in force for him.

All the material found during the search was subjected to criminal seizure. The man was then reported by the Carabinieri of Sermide to the Judicial Authority, since it is believed, in accusatory hypothesis, responsible of crime of illegal possession of common firearms and ammunition, other than failure to comply with an order from the Authority.
