Bozzolo: moments of apprehension yesterday morning in the center of Bozzolo for an 84-year-old local man.

It was around 10:30 in the morning when the elderly man, through the dormer window, went to the roof of his home, about 10 meters above the road below, to make a small repair.

After about a couple of hours, the man felt unwell and lost consciousness for a few minutes, unable to return to the house and remaining on the roof in an evidently dangerous situation.
Around 12:30 some passers-by heard the elderly man's cries for help and immediately alerted the Carabinieri of the Bozzolo Station.

The Station Commander and another soldier arrived on the scene and promptly and without hesitation reached the unfortunate man on the roof, providing him with assistance and securing him.
Subsequently, some teams from the Fire Brigades of Mantua and Viadana intervened and, with the help of a ladder truck, took care of the man from the roof, who was taken in charge by 118 personnel and transported to the “Oglio Po” Hospital in Casalmaggiore for treatment.

In the afternoon we learned that the old man was fine and that the misadventure, which could have led to much more serious consequences, had ended only with a great fright.
