Mantua: Online commerce, undeclared revenues to the tax authorities for over 6 million euros

With a specific service activity, they were found, in the lower Mantua area, revenues not declared to the tax authorities, for over 6 million euros, in the online commerce sector as well as in payment systems.

The operational activities in question are part of the fight against the underground economy in companies, phenomena that jeopardise the economic and financial balance of the country, being oriented towards illegal reduction of “structure” costs, both fiscal and organizational, to maximize the profits and get improper competitive advantages.

The contrast to similar fraud It also aims to ensure the correct allocation of public resources allocated to support families and businesses, through an integrated action, including preventive action, based on the observation of undeclared revenues, income subtracted from taxation, to stimulate compliance and undue compensation of undue tax credits.

Even the control of the alternative payment circuits and the tools of e-money, takes on considerable importance in preventing possible forms of tax evasion.

Countering such forms of tax and social security evasion means promoting a fairer distribution of the tax burden among citizens, in the series "pay everyone to pay less".
