In recent days, the Carabinieri of the Operational Unit of the Castiglione delle Stiviere Company have reported, at liberty, to the competent Judicial Authority, a 40-year-old resident of the Brescia area, since in the accusatory hypothesis, he is considered responsible for the crime of attempted extortion and damage.

The man, a few evenings ago, after having entered a massage center in the municipality of Aloisiano, claiming to be a member of the Carabinieri, asked the owner of the center for the sum of Euro 2.500 in order to "turn a blind eye" so as not to fine her, effectively avoiding the closure of the place due to alleged problems.When the woman refused to give him the sum requested, the fake Carabiniere left the premises and, on board his own car, intentionally rammed the glass entrance to the massage centre, damaging it, before quickly fleeing before the real Carabinieri could intervene.

The immediate investigations carried out and the investigative findings allowed us to reconstruct the salient moments of the attack, thus identifying the individual responsible for the attempted extortion.
The suspect, accompanied to the offices of the Carabinieri Company of Castiglione delle Stiviere, in the presence of his lawyer, admitted his responsibilities.
