Tolentino: Nigerian man arrested again for resisting a public official and aggravated personal injury.
Already arrested for attempting to stab the manager of the bar at the Tolentino train station, the same Nigerian citizen was arrested again yesterday evening by the Carabinieri of the Tolentino Radiomobile Unit for resisting a police officer and aggravated personal injury.
Yesterday morning the GIP of Macerata validated the arrest of the previous day and ordered against him the measure of Prohibition of Residence in the Marche Region.
Yesterday evening the non-EU citizen, in violation of the obligations of the measure, showed up again at the Tolentino train station to meet the manager of the bar, with whom he had had an argument the previous day, where the patrol of the Tolentino Radiomobile Nucleus also suddenly intervened.
The Carabinieri took the man to the Pollenza train station, where he was supposed to take the train to leave the Marche Region, but there he attacked the soldiers with kicks and punches, attempting to hit them with the knife supplied to the crew chief, who had fallen to the ground during the heated phases of the fight.
The Carabinieri finally managed, not without difficulty, to block and disarm the agitated man, both of whom suffered minor personal injuries as a result of the attack.
