Lucca, 40-year-old victim of sex extortion pays 4 thousand euros before reporting.

This is a particularly widespread phenomenon, that of the so-called "sex extortion”, which consists of the threaten to post sexual content, usually videos or photographs, often stolen through social media communications with men or women who have never actually been met in person.

Once the material is obtained, the victim is threatened with the publication of her photos or, even worse, by spreading them to contacts extracted from his social address books.

This is what happened to a 40-year-old from the Media Valle, the victim of a scam that led him to pay over 4.000 euros before turning, exasperated, to the Carabinieri of Bagni di Lucca. The military investigations allowed them to identify the five alleged responsible: 4 menresidents in Campania and a woman of Russian nationality. Thanks to the traceability of the extorted money, the five have been identified and will now have to answer for the extortion crime.
