Forte dei Marmi: the Carabinieri save a newborn girl who was inadvertently locked in the car.
Minutes of panic late yesterday morning, near the Municipal Palace of the well-known Versilia town, where a baby girl just a few months old was left locked in the car, under the scorching sun of yet another day characterized by scorching temperatures.
The intervention of a patrol from the Carabinieri station of Forte dei Marmi was decisive, engaged in daily territorial control services, attracted by the screams of desperation of a woman who was asking for help from the military to help her granddaughter, just a few months old, who remained on board her car from which she had just got out, but unfortunately inadvertently left the keys inside the vehicle and thus caused the automatic door locking device to activate and made the any subsequent attempt to reopen them.
Immediately the two soldiers, taking the necessary precautions, they broke one of the windows of the car, extracting the little girl unharmed and in good health, who was entrusted to her aunt who welcomed her with an intense and liberating emotional embrace.
An episode that ended with a happy ending and on which no responsibilities emerged against the woman considering that the little girl was never left alone, but which once again leads us to reflect on the need for constant attention when we are driving vehicles in which children are also transported.
