Capannori: found in possession of cocaine, 22-year-old arrested by Carabinieri

On the evening of 18/09/2024, at Capannori (Lucca), during a territorial control service, the Carabinieri of the local station have drawn into arrest un 22 year old Moroccan, do-nothing, regular.

During a territorial check carried out in the Santa Margherita area, precisely in the parking lot of the local cemetery, the Carabinieri noticed the young non-EU citizen on board a car. Subjected to a personal and vehicle search, they found 60,2 grams of cocaine packaged in 86 wraps of cellophane and the sum of 1.800,00 € in cash, likely believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.

The arrested man, after the legal formalities, was transferred to the “San Giorgio” prison in Lucca at the disposal of the Judicial Authorities.
