“La Loggia” opens in Vizzolo Predabissi (MI), the largest steampunk style club in Italy
Anachronistic technology, the protagonist in the novels of Jules Verne and Arthur Conan Doyle, becomes a source of inspiration for a new entrepreneurial adventure: it is about to open its doors in Vizzolo Predabissi (Milano), in via Verdi 11, “La Loggia”, the largest steampunk style club in Italy.
It is in the most famous settings of early 800th century Victorian London, contained in science fiction books, where gears, springs, mechanisms, steam engines and electricity are the masters, that the steampunk character of the new restaurant, pub and brewery is found "The Lodge".
«The intention – explains the owner Alessandro Fico – is to offer a unique experience, both on a sensory and culinary level. Ours - he adds - will be a journey through the enveloping visionary atmospheres that emerge from the writings of the great authors and the pleasures of the table, with the tasting of fine cuts of meat, carefully selected in the most titled farms in Europe, pints of craft beer and refined drinks».
The kitchen, which specializes in meat-based dishes, will serve complete menus, from appetizers to homemade desserts, proposing Argentine charcoal grilling, grilled meat and American-style hamburgers as main dishes.
The restaurant will be open both for lunch, offering a different set menu every day, at a reduced price, and for "à la carte" dinner.
Outside "La Loggia" has a very large garden, also in steampunk style, of 4000 square meters, where it will be possible to spend moments in the open air in a pleasant and elegant atmosphere.
Obviously, there will be no shortage of socializing opportunities, represented for example by events with live music, which will characterize every weekend in August and September, or food workshops.
"The last aspect worthy of note - concludes Alessandro Fico - concerns the social importance that "La Loggia" intends to cover, qualifying as a cultural and socially useful pole through collaborations with organizations and associations dedicated to the employment of people with disabilities and with vocational schools to bring young people closer to the world of work».
The opening of "La Loggia", scheduled for Friday 7 August (with a glass offered to the participants) will culminate with the concert of the "Other side of the Doors" (tribute to the Doors), scheduled from 20.00/20.30. Repeated the following day with the band "Jolly Blue" (tribute to 883). It should be noted that the restaurant scrupulously complies with the new rules on social distancing. A home delivery service is also available.
