Udine: “Tree Festival” with activities and games for the little ones

The traditional event took place again this year Tree Festival at the Lesa Park in Cividale del Friuli, with an initiative organized by the Municipality of Cividale del Friuli – Departments of the Environment and Land Protection – in collaboration with the Carabinieri Forestali and the Forestry Corps of the FVG Region. Also participating were the Carabinieri of the Cividale Station, the Civil Protection, the Fare Verde FVG association and a representation of ANFOR.

As always, the protagonists of the event were the students! Two classes from the Paolo Diacono National Boarding School and two classes from the Cividale Comprehensive Institute were involved and, thanks also to the availability of the teachers and chaperones, they enthusiastically participated in the day by taking part in activities and games for educational purposes aimed at spreading a culture of legality and raising awareness of the importance of woods and the environment which, as stated in art. 9 of our Constitution, must also be protected in the interest of future generations.

In this sense, of fundamental importance the gesture of planting seedlings, donated by the Carabinieri and the Fare Verde FVG association, as a representative symbol of a sense of responsibility that must animate every individual. The event ended with a moment of celebration, through the sharing of a tea which brought warmth to a day already warmed by the smiles and enthusiasm of the children.
