Modena. On stage they did smile, reflect and move the audience staging love, friendship, diversity, themselves and their reflections. They are the guys from Twinkly company which combines theater and different skills e the 6 October brought the show “to the Michelangelo Theater in ModenaAre you Alice?” to support the activity of Independent Life Foundation.
436 tickets sold that evening to attend the extraordinary show that questions common sense and encourages look at the world from a different perspective, going beyond appearances. Thanks to the many people from Modena who went to the theater, the evening, once expenses had been paid, allowed us to donate almost 3 thousand euros to the Vita Independent Foundation: 2.930 to be precise, intended to support autonomy projects for people with disabilities.
On the morning of Tuesday 7 November Valerio Boni e Chiara Gatti, respectively president and vice-president of the association. Habilitas that gave birth to the Twinkly company and directors of the show, delivered to the president of Fondazione Vita.
Independent Roberto Bosi, the symbolic maxi-check with the proceeds of the evening. They couldn't miss the occasion Simona, Francesca and Francy who, in addition to being part of the company, went to live on their own thanks to a project by Independent Life Foundation.
And the mayor was present Gian Carlo Muzzarelli who wanted to personally congratulate the protagonists of the theater company and the councilor for social policies Roberta Pinelli who thanked him over 400 people from Modena attended the show, "because this allows us to look with more confidence to the future of the Vita Independent Foundation which will continue to raise funds to allow people with disabilities to have an independent life. I also want to remember - he added - that Twinkly shows us how people with and without disabilities can work, act and have fun together: being together, without differences and without prejudice, must become increasingly normal in our community".
Independent Life Foundation was born a few years ago to support and develop personal and housing autonomy projects aimed at people with disabilities; the founding members are Aisla, Anfass, Aut Aut, Insieme a Noi, Uildm, Charitas Institute and Municipality of Modena. The Foundation is currently involved in several projects designed to increase levels of autonomy of disabled people until the activation of independent living experiences such as that of Simona, Francesca and Francy who went to live together in a Municipality apartment renovated by Acer thanks to the funds of theAfter us", while a qualified team of psychologists and experts accompanied them on the path to independence in which they were supported by their parents. The project still exists financed by the Municipality and Foundation of Modena.
