According to Infocamere data, fixed-term and permanent employees in our province, excluding public sector personnel, recorded a +7,12% in the three-year period 2021 -2023 with a number of employees equal to 67.104 units in 2021, 70.045 in 2022 and 71.885 in 2023.

La Spezia therefore confirms itself, in Liguria, as the city where the greatest growth is recorded. Followed by Genoa (+6,63%), Imperia (+4,38%) and Savona (+4,08%).

Added to this is the best result also in terms of growth rate of the province's businesses and the twenty-ninth position in Italy for per capita wealth. A success that is certainly not accidental and that derives from the great attention that has been paid in recent years to the support and enhancement of the entrepreneurial fabric through coordinated planning that does not leave out any area: from culture, to tourism, to nautical, to industry , public works, the environment, but not only. We have an excellent University Campus capable of guaranteeing, at the end of the course of study, an employability of over 90%, we have invested in the creation of a Work Network capable of providing specific training and effectively linking demand and offered through the Infolavoro desk. La Spezia is now a competitive and attractive city, in first place in terms of incidence of Sea Economy companies, with the most important yacht and superyacht brands active in the area for which we have developed the Blue Mile project which makes us increasingly competitive at an international level, in addition to the defense industrial system and the tourism boom.
