The Carabinieri meet the students of the “Epifanio” Commercial Institute in Mesagne.

Toasts. In recent days, i Carabinieri of the Company of San Vito of the Normans they met the third, fourth and fifth classes of'Epifanio' Commercial and Scientific Institute of Mesagne, for a total of 90 students and the teaching staff of the two institutes.

Awaiting the imminent arrival of the Christmas holidays, during the meeting, held together with the soldiers of the Carabinieri Anti-sabotage Unit of Lecce, the topic of legality and prevention regarding the use of pyrotechnic material was addressed. After a brief introduction on explosive materials, a demonstration of defusing a potential parcel bomb was carried out, through the use of the equipment supplied. The students participated with interest in the meeting, asking the soldiers numerous questions, representing their doubts and also recounting personal experiences.

The Carabinieri has always promoted this type of cultural contribution, actively involving students, with whom a concrete comparison is established, stimulating their curiosity, in order to encourage the practice of the value of legality especially with practical examples. The meeting is included in a broader calendar of appointments who see the Carabinieri making its contribution of closeness to young and very young students with laim of increasing civic sense and trust towards the institutions.
