The 2023-2024 academic year of the Postgraduate School for the Police Forces inaugurated in Rome
The course, also open to foreign listeners, is aimed at increasing and qualifying the skills of management level officials of the Italian Police Forces.
The 2023-2024 academic year of the Postgraduate School for the Police Force was inaugurated in Rome.
Rome. Yesterday at the Auditorium “Prefect Carlo Mosca” of the Police Force Training School, was held Inauguration ceremony of the 2023-2024 academic year in the presence of the Minister of the Interior, Prefect Matteo Piantedosi, of the Chief of Police – Director General of Public Security, Prefect Vittorio Pisani, of the leaders of the Carabinieri, of the Guardia di Finanza and the Department of Penitentiary Administration and the highest judicial authorities and Security Agencies and Guarantor Authorities.
The Attorney General of the Court of Cassation, Dr. Luigi Salvato, gave a speech on the theme "Presumption of innocence, Communication and Training".
The event was concluded by Interior Minister, which officially declared the academic year open. The Director of the Graduate School has illustrated the course program for the next academic year which provides:
– XXXIX Advanced Training Course, lasting nine months, which began on 18 September 2023 and will end on 21 June 2024.
The course, also open to foreign listeners, is aimed at increasing and qualifying the skills of managerial level officials of the Italian Police Forces in terms of managerial skills and in matters of coordination and international cooperation.
– Courses Update on coordination joint forces and international cooperation,
– Courses Level I and Level II criminal analysis.
– Courses Update for Security Expert intended for Italian Embassies abroad.
– Courses for Nominations of Italian Officials/Officers at EU agencies and international organisations.
– Courses CEPOL, the National Unit of the EU Academy based in Budapest (U)
– International courses for the prevention and fight against organized crime at the employee International School of Higher Education of Caserta
Overall, they will be trained in the 2023/2024 academic year 550 managers of the Italian and foreign police forces.
