Potenza: the Mobility Ticket APP presented for the management of online public transport ticketing.

It will be possible to use the APP to purchase bus and escalator travel tickets and activate them at the time of use, before accessing the escalators or the bus. It will still be guaranteed, – ha continued Caforio – at least in the next few months of the year, the circulation of paper tickets, for the benefit of users not accustomed to the use of smartphones and a completion of the APP which will allow the localization of the bus will be in operation already in the autumn interest, to be aware of waiting times".

On this occasion the mayor Guarente did the point of the situation regarding urban mobility: “Miccolis bus is working very well in our territory and I recognize their commitment in terms of resources, which in this case cannot be taken for granted, which unfortunately we were not used to with the previous operator. Improving the service has always been our goal and today I can confirm the validity of the choice made at the time to end the experience with the previous operator and start the collaboration with Miccolis bus. The solidity and reliability of the manager is a necessary encouragement for the actions that this Administration wants to implement to improve the service, from an increase in kilometers travelled, still stuck at the figure dutifully redetermined on the occasion of the breakdown, to greater interaction of urban mobility tools, escalators, road transport and surface metro. Discussions are underway with the Region to stop extra-urban buses in the city interchange areas, to protect our roads from an excessive volume of traffic and, at the same time, have more resources to make local public transport more efficient".
