Equal gender opportunities, the all-female projects winners of the Award Milano Woman.

Many projects, one great objective: to help the most fragile women by accompanying them on a path to escape from contexts of violence, social, cultural and work isolation, gradually enabling them to do it on their own.

At the Casa degli Artisti the winning associations of the Premio Milano WOMEN who participated in the Municipality's tender by proposing significant projects for the area in which they operate.

The presentation was attended by representatives of the Municipality, the Municipalities and two "militant" guests: the "Caterpillar" journalist Sara Zambotti and the actress Lella Costa.

Behind the proposals brought to the attention of the Municipality is the story of many women, both Italian and of foreign origin, who live in difficult situations that are sometimes temporary, sometimes the result of years of social hardship, for which the possibility of a way out has been created.

Among them there are those who, working in a tailor's shop, have started a new life in our city and in our country, after the drama of forced migration, those who have learned to defend themselves with judo courses and psychological support, becoming strong to the point of thinking that violence it's not love.

Then there are those in the Alda Merini House Museum he discovered freedom outside of prison and reception centers and who, by going on stage, with laughter managed to tackle dramatic issues and overcome them.
They will receive eight award-winning projects up to 2 thousand euros in order to continue and offer new opportunities to participate in activities to an ever-increasing number of women.

Il Premio Milano WOMEN However, it does not only concern the beneficiaries of these projects but also those who, with all-female determination, created and proposed them.

A mosaic of realities which, with their presence in the area, constitute a point of reference for many women in difficulty, a first port of call on which to place their feet so as not to feel alone and begin their journey of rebirth.
