Naples, the app for booking access to the free beaches of Posillipo and the protected area of Gaiola is back
Also this year, the collaboration agreements between the Central Tyrrhenian Sea Port System Authorities, the Municipality of Naples and the Lidi Concessionaires have been renewed to allow better accessibility to public beaches, through the booking service via the app to access the public beaches of Posillipo and the protected area of Gaiola.

From now, Monday 3 June, it will be possible to book free access to the public beaches of Posillipo located on the sides of Palazzo Donn'Anna. The App has been renewed to allow access to a greater number of citizens and tourists within the limits of the size of the spaces and routes.

In short (Italian only), this year it is possible make a reservation the day before for the next day with entry by 13pm, if you do not show up by 13pm the reservation will automatically lapse and the place is made available for the same day from 13pm; it's possible make three reservations a week for the same person, minors must be accompanied; upon exit you are asked to validate again in order to make the vacated seat available. 25 places are available through the Ideal lido, 25 spots through Elena bathroom e 450 spots through Sirena beach.
From the Department of the Sea they remember and "The beach in Diaz, in Largo Sermoneta, and the small beaches in Ferdinando Russo and Marechiaro are also open without limits and suitable for swimming. Since last year, the Bagnoli beach and the beaches of San Giovanni a Teduccio have been open for heliotherapy. This year bathing is finally allowed in the Pietrarsa area thanks to the major purification works that are being completed. The public lido of Bagnoli will be available this year from 15 June to allow the carrying out of small works that were not possible before. Instead, limited access is necessary for the beaches on the sides of Palazzo Donn'Anna, given the shape of the accesses and the size of the places, but thanks to the agreement with the Port System Authority (which has jurisdiction over the management of state property maritime) and with the concessionaires, citizens and tourists can use the concession-free stretches of beach free of charge and safely".
The two-year agreement with Gaiola is also active for 2024 which regulates access to the public beach.
