Milano, due to bad weather: yellow alert for rain and thunderstorms

The Natural Risk Monitoring Center of the Lombardy Region has issued a yellow alert for storms and hydrogeological risk expected today until 06:00 on Monday. Monitoring of the levels of the Seveso and Lambro rivers has also been activated.

The Natural Risk Monitoring Center of Lombardy region ha a yellow alert has been issued (ordinary) for thunderstorms from today, Sunday 7 July, until 6 am on Monday 8 July. It's yellow alert also due to hydrogeological risk from 6 am today to Monday morning.

Il Municipal Operations Center (COC) of the Civil Protection will be active for monitoring the hydrometric levels of the Seveso and Lambro rivers and to coordinate any interventions in the city.

During the weather alert invites citizens not to stop in the underpasses, in the areas at risk of flooding in Seveso and Lambro, below and in near trees and near construction site scaffolding, dehors and tents.

It's important also pay attention to weather phenomena at outdoor events, in order to prevent dangerous situations.
