The IeFP courses are provided by accredited training bodies of the Liguria Region and are structured in relation to the employment needs and the specific connotations and needs of the economic system of the territory to facilitate the acquisition of professional skills and the transition to the world of work.

"There are no series A and series B schools, but simply schools that are more or less suited to the characteristics and legitimate ambitions of each individual boy. We have said this throughout the summer review of Orientamenti Summer and we reiterate it today with this important three-year program approved by the Board – underlines the regional councilor for training Marco Scajola –. We will finance 36 courses, post middle school, throughout the Ligurian territory, planned by evaluating the needs of the economic fabric and employment needs. In this way we remain faithful to the idea of training that is not an end in itself, but useful, preparatory to entering the world of work. The Ligurian IeFP system, to date, guarantees over 75% employment success for those who complete the courses. An important number, the result of extensive work that begins with the fundamental orientation activity and continues with regional programming that makes the right economic resources available to guarantee our young people the best opportunities. This year we will conclude this second phase earlier than expected, thus giving families more time to make an informed choice."

Among the professional figures that will be trained there will be: mechanical operator, catering operator, graphic operator, construction operator, electrical operator, wellness operator, promotion and hospitality services operator.

Alfa (Ligurian Agency for training, work and accreditation) will identify the subjects suitable to manage the training interventions for the three-year period 2025/2028, who will be chosen following a specific public notice of selection of applications.
